Tokyo Disneyland Easter Parade Usatama on the Run!

Usatama on the Run! is a parade held during the Easter event at Tokyo Disneyland. It debuted in 2017 – and after a two year hiatus – made its return in the Spring of 2022. I unashamedly leaned into my love of girl-punk and mixed it with cinematic production elements. This Paramore-inspired song was the first assignment I received from Disney Live Entertainment, and we decided to push the park’s musical palette forward with this slightly edgy, incredibly positive, ridiculously catchy tune!

My original arranging, orchestration, and production are featured at the start of the parade as well as on the official soundtrack. My complete arrangement plays at the conclusion of the parade and sets the stage for guests to embrace the Easter spirit as they enjoy the rest of their Disney adventure.
